I’ll be lecturing at ETSU this Thursday. Come one, come all!

I am so very honored to be speaking about my work with Frish Brandt of the Fraenkel Gallery during this year’s PhotoNoLa. This event is not to be missed! We will be speaking together at the New Orleans PhotoAlliance Gallery on December 15 at 7pm. I hope to see you there!

This November 10, I will be presenting at the Sounds of the South symposium. If you are in the Charleston, SC area, please join us! The program begins at 10am. Other presenters include Lisa Elmaleh, Bill Ferris, and Bill Steber. Clearly I am in very good company! We would love to have you join us for what is sure to be a great day.

The day is here! Southbound: Photographs Of and About the New South is opening at the Halsey Institute in Charleston, South Carolina. Be sure to check this one out - it is a truly special exhibition and it means the world to me to have my work included. 

Happy to report that I’ve been included in Ain’t Bad Magazine Issue No. 13. I’m particularly pleased as this issue was juried by a bunch of curators that I really respect. It was an honor to have my work selected! Big thanks to all the folks at Ain’t Bad and all the curators who participated.

I’m thrilled to be a part of the exhibit Photography Comes First and Language Follows at the Watkins College of Art.

I will be speaking about my work at Watkins on September 25 at 6pm. If you happen to be in Nashville, come by! 

I’m mighty proud to report that I received this PhotoNoLa Review Award! 

This will result in many things, including a solo exhibit of Silent Ballad at the New Orleans PhotoAlliance Gallery, and a new edition of the book Post Script, which will be edited by Sasha Wolf and designed by Dave Wofford of Horse & Buggy Press for September release. I also am grateful to receive a year of complimentary consultations with Mary Virginia Swanson as part of this award.
