The Cumberland Gap Folklife Project

I’m thrilled to report that I now direct the Cumberland Gap Folklife Project. Generously funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, this project will result in new photographs, a documentary film series, an exhibit, apprenticeships and internships for artists, new programming at the annual White Lightning Trail Festival, and much more! Check out the project website for updates. Somehow I’ve made the plunge from making still photographs to moving images!
